虽然上述大学录取过程分为多个轮次，但针对热门专业，中国学生的名额通常在前两轮录取中已经基本填满，建议想申请商科等热门专业的同学，尽早开始准备，并在前2月前递交申请。非热门专业尽量在3月前递交完申请，以预留足够的时间给后续开学前准备工作。

其他英国大学，采取滚动录取方式，即先到先得，录完就截止。这种名额更是紧俏，建议大家尽早递交。
